CURRENT OPENINGS

Location: Los Angeles/Hybrid

This role is the glue between our Creative Director, our design team, and our clients. You're the one making sure a client note lands with the right person in the right form, and that nothing gets lost between the concept and the thing that actually gets built.

ROLE: CREATIVE COORDINATOR

Day To Day

  • Translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction for our graphics and rendering team

  • Track revisions across decks and renderings so every version is current and nothing stale goes out

  • Keep the Creative Director, the design team, and the client working off the same information

  • Draft and send creative updates to clients

  • Build and format decks in Canva across concept, pitch, and recap

  • Pull references and build boards for palette, look and feel, and activation concepts

  • Research brands ahead of pitches: their launches, their audience, how they've shown up before

  • Speak the same language as our production partners. You don't need to be an expert, but you should be able to get on a call with a printer or fabricator and hold your own.

  • Understand specs, dimensions, materials, and file requirements well enough to spec something correctly the first time

  • Know roughly what things cost so concepts stay grounded in reality

  • Track quotes, lead times, and vendor timelines

On Site

  • Support load-in, install, and strike

  • Make sure what gets built is what we designed

  • Be the person who catches the thing nobody else caught

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experiential experience required. LA based.

  • Genuine obsession with branding and experiential. You notice when a brand gets it right, and you take it personally when they don't. You can name the last activation that actually impressed you, and you already have ideas for how it could've been better. This is the part we can't teach.

  • A real visual instinct. You can tell the difference between good and almost-good.

  • You want to know how the idea becomes a real object. Moodboards are the easy part. We need someone who can carry a concept all the way to something built correctly.

  • Canva proficiency required, Adobe Creative Suite a plus

  • Organized in a way other people notice

  • Clear communicator. A lot of this job is making sure three parties understand the same thing.

  • Reliable transportation

  • Discretion is non-negotiable. Our clients trust us with things they don't want out in the world, and that trust is a big part of why they come back.

Most important requirement: Be a kind person. We mean this as an actual requirement, not a nice-to-have. We work long days in close quarters with a lot of moving parts, and the whole reason we do this is because it's fun. If that's not a priority for you, this isn't the place for you.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Send your resume and portfolio to hello@fluff-studios.com with "Creative Coordinator - LA - Your Name" in the subject line, plus two things:

1. A 30-60 second video
Pitch us an activation for the least glamorous product you can think of. Toilet paper, a phone charger, a can of beans. Your call.

Tell us the concept, what the space feels like, and one detail you'd obsess over. Then give us a ballpark on what it would cost to build. A rough number is fine, we just want to see how you think about it.

Film it on your phone. One take is perfect. No music, no graphics, no b-roll. We're judging the idea, not your editing. Send it as a link so it doesn't die in our inbox.

2. A one-page moodboard
Same activation, built in canva. Show us you can get an idea out of your head and onto a deck.

Bonus
Three images that have nothing to do with the pitch, but tell us something about you.
